Senior Storyteller and Communications Strategist
Welcome to my professional portfolio! As a digital repository featuring examples of and reflections about the work I've done over the years, I hope you find something that sparks your interest or makes you want to learn more. Sprinkled throughout are clips along with my own paintings and photos as a kind of homage to language and imagery.
A little about me: Finding creative ways to relay facts, feelings, and nuanced stories that stick has always been a priority. With print being my first love, my professional pursuits have progressed to digital content, management, UX, and strategy.
The blending of words, imagery, sound, and movement to thoughtfully share information that matters is challenging and sublime.
My curiosity has always been centered on the complexities of human experience and the wonders of nature. I interviewed families who lost everything in Findlay, Ohio's devastating 2007 flood. I wrote about a professor who's on a quest to save our night sky and earth-bound environment from light pollution. I've donned waders to search through a river with environmentalists for endangered mussels. I enjoy designing visuals that have made people pause and think, "I want to give to this cause." From death to debates to descending in a hot air balloon to skim over water - my work has been hard and frustrating but also endlessly fascinating and rewarding.
I intend to keep sharing in interesting ways, to keep experimenting, to keep changing, and to keep learning for as long as I can.
